The Fall Mill Hill Kits and the Christmas kits are arriving. This cute one is called Moonlight Treaters. Summer is a great time to work on these beaded kits as they are so portable and easy to stitch on the perforated paper. Just don't drop the beads on the deck boards (personal experience speaking).
\We have not forgotten about our blog but things have been sooooooooo crazy here at the shop. Our Canada Day celebrations continue with a special day of stitching here at the shop on July 8 - a joint project between our local chapter of the Embroider's Association of Canada - The Chickadee Chapter of Needlearts and us. We are creating a canvas project of a Canada ornament or fob or a pair of earrings featuring a red maple leaf. This stitch in day starts at 10 am and ends at 3 pm. Drop in and check us out.
Then......... we received our new order from Laura J Perin designs. This "Snowman Panel" canvas project was one of our favorites. There is a new Christmas Tree one too.
This cute little piece from Little House Needleworks called "House Rule" reminds us to count our stitches carefully and only stitch once. I should do this one as I have been "frogging" a lot lately in my stitching.
Just a reminder that we have all the Little House Needleworks and Country Cottage Needleworks charts 20%off for the month of June.
Crossed Wing has done it again. They have created a new chart called "And Then Comes Spring". Have you noticed any nests or baby birds around your home? This is one of the many things I love about spring - the sound of the birds.
